Read on to find out how to create your own songs in a short way, and make some money in future. Don't think of making money yet you are just a beginner!..Lol
Well, you can make your own music without owning any real studio equipment. Yes, I did it and I'm still enjoying it! All you need is your PC , your Min-Hi-Fi or headset with strong sound system. Then hustle for a music making program, such as FL studio ( most recommended), Reason and the list goes on. These programs comes in different visions with various futures, so choose wisely.
After u installed what u managed to get, read the manual guide on how to use the programs futures. Then make a short research on different types music instruments and make sure you recognise their sounds. E.g Know the difference between a bass drum and a kick, strings and brasses. Can you tell the instruments used in your favourite song? Good you are almost there.....!
Now you should start composing your own music! here are some tips, from my experience on how to begin composing with Fl studio.
Tips: 1. Is good for a beginner to start with a drum Patten, Bass ,then melody and chords.
2. Since u are a beginner, I'm recommending you to use the drum loops that comes with Fl engine,choose what fits you, keep your tempo between 79 and 85, because those loops are of 1 bar,
3. Put in the bass, hitting at same position with the kick, make sure you play in different notes that make sense E.g Play in long notes of 1 bar, C4>D4>A3>C4. Sounding good, now lets kick it!
4. Now play a melodies that follow both bass and the drums. E.g C6>D6>B5>D6.Yes, yeah nice! NB: you should ply melodies an chords in interesting ways, don't really play everything in the same way, otherwise your song will be boring! e.g make the chords long and play something like piano per beat, styling, but in the same range as chords.
Tip: Make sure u associate your self with the type of the music that you would like to do. Listen to such type of music often to detect their flows. So it will be easy for u, once you know how the drums, bass and melodies for a certain type of music flows. You should also go to websites like u tube for videos, to learn more. Good lucky!!!!
